Solas Sólás - Poetry Book by Christine Broe (2003)

This is the first collection from Christine Broe. The Irish word, Solas, means light while Sólás (the accents making the vowel sounds longer) means consolation. The held transformation of meaning and sound in these twin words suggest them as suitable title for the work. They reach under the english language to ancient, deep concepts, almost to silence.
